We got a very early and rainy start today on the 5:50 am train to London where we took most of our luggage to the Ruben’s hotel we will be staying at after Paris and left it with them, then on the Eurostar to Paris. We slept most of the way on both trains even though we had looked forward to seeing the countryside as we rode. Arrived at our hotel and got checked in for 2 short nights and had another power nap before our Eiffel Tower timed entry. The weather here is cooler than we expected but seems to have warmed up a little bit after sundown. The Eiffel Tower was great and having our tickets already saved hours. There were probably 500 or more people in line to buy tickets. We went to the top for incredible views over Paris and watched the tower twinkle before a late dinner then back to hotel exhausted. Drew is having great time and so are we except for not enough ours in a day!

I've been to the Eiffel Tower 3 times and never knew that I could buy tickets in advance so I've never been to the top and have never been there at night so your picture of it lit up, blew me away. Can't tell you how much I love that one.
ReplyDeleteContinue having a great time and letting me enjoy your trips.
